February 7 (Bloomberg) – Barack Obama called on the leaders of U.S. markets “to participate in the game.” The words “join in a game,” the U.S. president was referring to support their country, by moving money out of the shadows into the economy.
“Now is the time to invest in America,” Obama said in his speech, being in the U.S. Chamber of Commerce, he also announced that through its policies intended to achieve, to build a solid foundation for the development of any business, while he laid emphasis on shared responsibility, (approx. government and business) for economic growth.
In some parts of his speech, Obama repeated the remarks of President John F. Kennedy, during the “Cold War”, he urged Americans to “say what they can do for your country.”
“As we work towards a unified goal to make America a better place to do business, I also hope that you will know what to do for America,” Obama said. “Think about what needs to be done to hire as many American workers, that you can do to support the American economy and invest in this country.”
